AVG Anti-Virus is certainly one of the best free anti-virus of today, as it offers a complete protection for the domestic use. One of its main features is simplicity, which can be seen already in its interface and the organization of its menus.
Its basic security functions are efficient, as well as being able to scan multiple directories of your computer quickly to find the most drastic site problems. If you prefer, you can still start a deeper scanning, which encompasses all computer locations, either on time or through a schedule.
Overview
The splash screen gives you an overview of your system, showing your computer points that are safe and vulnerable. If there are one or more vulnerable areas, you can select it to search for fixes.
Reports
In this section you will find a history of all actions taken and also threats that have been deleted or sent to quarantine. This report shows in a good amount of detail what happened, for example: the updates shows the corrections and updates, the scan shows the malware found and so on.
Better performance
It is interesting to note that the 2015 version is performing better than previous versions, from its more dynamic interface to the execution of scans, which are much faster and more efficient.
